Stories that involve aging make special and unique demands on makeup. I was extremely fortunate to be referred to Annelies Gentile. Annelies provided a lesson in making someone look younger and older than their natural age, to an appreciative audience of LaWanda Lilly and Naomi Eckhaus. At the end of that session, I took this photo which is nearly unbelievable. These are simply the left and right halves of the same photo.
I was lucky to find such insightful guidance on this critical issue. I would recommend Annelies highly as a fantastic makeup person, however, she no longer does makeup but devoters herself to fascinating work with painting and performance. Her website is here.
