Trapped in an abusive marriage, a woman's past calls to her. In the midst of emotional devastation, finding a snapshot of herself from a happier day brings back the strong person she once was and decides to become once again.
Arika Cullen brought this short film script, based on her personal experience, to the TFC Screenwriters Group. As the moderator, Jim read the description sections. However, since Diamond has one actor and no dialogue, Jim read the entire piece for the group. It was clearly a set of great moments in the life of this woman.
Maxine Eloi gives a nuanced performance in this one-woman film without dialogue.
