Composer Emma Nadeau

I was incredibly fortunate to recruit Emma to compose the score of this film. She graciously started providing segments of the score well before the edit was completed. Having another artist's interpretation of the emotional flow of the film was a huge asset in completing the edit.

Emma Nadeau is a theater artist and musician based in Chapel Hill, NC. For many years, she toured the country, playing and singing in the indie band, Lost in the Trees, which earned Wall Street Journal's best album of the year rating in 2012. They played at Lincoln Center, Millenium Park, South by Southwest, All Tomorrow's Parties, and NPR's Tiny Desk Concert Series, and shared the stage with many great bands, including Neko Case and the Head and the Heart.

Composing credits include the short film Keepsake (by Meredith Sause) and The Tempest & Metamorphoses (live theater at Playmakers Repertory Company).

Emma has also performed locally with many theater groups, including Little Green Pig and The Performance Collective, and has worked on creating and performing original, educational theater with the Curious Theatre Collective.

When she's not writing or performing, she is gardening or tending to her homestead with her wonderful family.
